Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello everyone! I can’t seem to find a thread for FALL 2019 for Valencia college. So I decided to make one and see when others have put their applications in and all that good stuff.

Hey all. Im applying to Fall Transition into Nursing program. Good luck to everyone!

Hi guys,

I submitted my application for Osceola in Dec 2018 for Summer 2019 and got waitlisted. Crossing fingers I can get into Fall 2019. Did anyone receive any updates yet?

Hi everyone! I applied for the fall 2019 accelerated nursing program. So anxious.. it’s going to be a long 6-8 week wait. Good luck to everyone ?

I think you will get in for fall !!! Since I’ve been seeing that usually you get waitlisted a semester. I’ll be happy with spring 2020 but I’ll be surprised if I get in for fall since I put my application in April. No updates yet still waiting

I just submitted my application for concurrent. Wonder if I stand a chance with my 3.46 pre req, 3.27 overall and 86.7 TEAS since Fall is always so competitive.

I headed it’s so competitive and even people with high teas and gpa’s sometimes don’t get in. BUT I hope this is not the case for you and wish you best of luck

Hopefully, I am allowed on the forum. I already hold an AA from Valencia and a B.S from UCF so sadly financial aid won't be provided :///. But, I should be finished with pre reqs by Spring 2020 and even bought my TEAS practice book already lol. Do you think I should I apply for the program and take the TEAS in the fall or the spring?

Good luck to everyone!

I don’t think you can apply before you take the teas if that’s what you mean . However I think it’s best to apply as soon as you finish your pre reqs and take your teas because some people get waitlisted so it’s just the earlier the better

I'll probably do that. Take the TEAS before final grades post in Spring 2020 then send everything in for my application by then.

Hi everyone, I applied February 2019 for fall and I meet all the requirements. I spoke with a nursing advisor this week and was told that it is now a 2 to 3 semester waitlist at the moment. Does anyone know if acceptance emails have went out for fall? Apparently no one at Osceola campus knows the answer to this.

Omg no don’t tell me that. I applied in April but I’m okay with not getting in for fall but to not get in for spring either ?? That’s so long. I haven’t received anything yet I don’t think we’ll know anything till the end of June

Hey Tricia, did you apply for only Osceola campus or only daytime? There are so many variables in play so I’m wondering if one program fills up quicker than the others.
