Valencia Fall 2015

Hello! I couldn't find any threads about Valencia for fall 2015 so I thought I'd make one. I've applied to UCF for fall but I've also applied for Valencia and will be be applying for the concurrent program as well, come may. So I thought hey, I may end up in Valencia's generic ASN track or the concurrent with Valencia/UCF so I wanted to start this thread up to seek out anyone else in the same position. Hello fellow hopefuls, how are you? Anxious? Excited? Impatient?

Overall GPA: 3.82

Science Prereq GPA: 3.67

Non-Science Prereq: 4.0

TEAS: 90.7%

Hey! I am also applying to the Fall 2015 UCF/Valencia Concurrent program in May. I am more excited than anything else... It has been alot of work and time away from my family to complete these pre-reqs. My overall GPA is 3.7, Science GPA is 4.0, Non-science GPA for UCF is 4.0, and Non-science GPA for Valencia is 3.8. I also recieved an 87.6 on my TEAS. It is going to be a long wait to find out if I get in! Are you nervous?

I applied to the nursing program on april 9th and got a letter today saying that I was accepted and the orientation is july 17th! I am amazed how fast it was. my teas score was really low 71b but overall gpa 3.7 non science 4.0 and science 3.53 so if anyone else apply they are not to picky this time

are you going to wait until the orientation to start doing the inmunization? I want to go ahead and get done as much as I can

I hope so! I actually already went to my doctor and had my immunization records sent to UCF, they required them during admission. I also received a few booster shots... It was a pain and I am glad I did it early. My doctors office had to locate shot records from years ago. They tried to say at first they destroyed those records. I recommend trying to track down your records as soon as you can. Hopefully you don't have the same problems I did.

The application for fall 2015 concurrent VCC/UCF is until May 15th. I applied on May 5th when my final grades and AA degree posted to my transcript. I had everything sent to UCF from Valencia. It will be sometime in June before they send out acceptance letters though...
