Hi all! I am new to this. Has anyone applied to the Jan 2010 LPN to RN class? Did you get your acceptance/denile letter? If so, what did it look like? Did anyone hear that VCC will be going to 3 times a year for the online program?

Hi, not that it probably matters at this point, but I recieved my acceptance letter for the Jan 2010 LPN to RN program last week. Me and 3 of my coworkers applied myself and another got accepted one is an alternate and the other one did not make it in. But i'm sure by now you've heard back.

My husband is a paramedic/firefighter and also got accepted to Valencia's advanced track program for Jan. 2010. He and several other paramedic/firefighters we know also were accepted. So I guess you will be in his class.

I am not a LPN or paramedic so I got accepted to the standard track program at Valencia for May 2010.

Should be interesting my husband being in the advanced progam and me in the standard track program.

Thanks guys. I didn't get in because of my GPA but I did get in the jan 2011 generic program.

Hey poohbh21 what was your gpa? Just wondering. I'll be applying to either the summer 2011 program or the fall 2011 one (both generic track). I'm just writing here because I can't find any more recent threads about valencia.

Is it all online?

How many semester is the bridge program??

I am starting an LPN program and I am trying to find out any information I can on bridge prorams.

It is 3 semesters long and you have to go in one day a week for clinicals and you must go in for your exams.

I am also looking for some more information on this program. If anyone is currently doing it or has done it recently I would love a PM! I am far from campus (about 2 hours) but i'm thinking about applying for this one, and really need information on the # of tests, and the clinical hours, if possible.

Could you tell me about how often you go in for the exams? Also, are they at a set time, or taken in a testing unit so you can do it at any time? Thanks so much!
