Valencia College Summer 2020

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for anyone who’s applying for the traditional nursing program at Valencia for the summer :)! That way we can give one another updates, or anyone with helpful tips who ALREADY got admitted for spring!

Hi everyone!
I also applied for summer 2020 in December 15th.
I got an email "confirming" my application, and they also said they would have an answer 6-8 weeks from January 15th. So if I'm doing the math correctly from Feb 29th until March 11th!
Fingers crossed we will get in for summer ?
Unfortunately I can't apply for Seminole now as I didn't finish algebra. Do you guys know their app deadline?

Where is the orientation and compliance page? I am anxious too guys. I check my atlas email like 5 times a day even though I know I’m being too early. Hopefully fingers crossed it’s our turn next!

I’m getting extremely nervous as the big day approaches. I’ve been reading other forums just to see how many people were waitlisted from the Spring semester ?.

Hey listen, even if we get waitlisted to be honest look at it from a positive point of view. More time to prepare yourself. I know we all want to get in and be done but we are close. We have made it this far. We will make it. Stay positive and best of luck to you all!!

I just got a call from Valencia about admissions because I applied on Jan 15 for the summer which I knew was late but I wanted to try anyways she said I wouldn’t be admitted for the summer semester it would most likely be for the fall because they’re taking people who applied First as it’s a “first come, first serve” basis. So I’m pretty sure you guys will be receiving your emails soon. All the best!

I applied for nursing program on August 2nd. I'm still on the waiting list. I hope I'll get in the program this Summer.

My TEAS score was 79 and my GPA is 4

I got a 83% on my TEAS and overall GPA of 3.90. This helps with anything? For the waiting? I think it doesn't matter ?

No it doesn’t. I have a 4.0 GPA and she said it’s not about grades. It’s about who applied first.

How many times can I actually refresh my email and the compliance page... I'm so ready to know. These next two weeks will be all the stress.
