Valencia College Summer 2020

Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for anyone who’s applying for the traditional nursing program at Valencia for the summer :)! That way we can give one another updates, or anyone with helpful tips who ALREADY got admitted for spring!

I got an email saying I was being reviewed for Summer 2020 ( I applied on Oct 12, for that specific term). My Teas are 73.2% and my program and overall is the same its a 3.85. I was told that does nothing to your application; as long as you have that 3.0 and the % of the TEAS you are automatically entered. Just a waiting game!

Yes, you are right it doesn't do anything to the application. Like you said it's a waiting game! Since I was already waitlisted for Spring2020 I think there's a higher chance for me to get in for Summer 2020.

However, I want to get a better score because for Seminole the requirement is 78 for the TEAS. And this way I have another option just in case

Yea, I might retake it as well and if I get the 78 or higher apply for Seminole. *Sigh* and they say Nurses are in “high demand” yet they make it so darn hard and long for us to make it. ?

I believe January 15, but not 100% as they have open applications. Just says that they review after Sept, Jan, and May 15th for the following terms

Hey @Jhanel Tyson... I know @YaniWillBeARN already answer but also keep in mind that Valencia accepts students on a "first-come, first-served" basis. So the sooner you apply, the better.

Hey everyone,

I was in the program for this semester but decided to drop it. I have my uniform and kit if you were interested, I'll give it for less than I got it for. The kit has everything (you check through everything the first week with a checklist) and mine came correct. I'm a size XS in the shirt, 0 in the khakis, size 8.5 in the white shoes. Let me know please

Have you guys heard anything from VC? I got my “being evaluated” a couple weeks ago! I wanted to see if y’all have gotten anything? ?

Hey girl, still waiting. I got the same Email a couple of weeks ago. I guess we are in the “impatiently waiting” list now lol

Hey! We are definitely impatiently waiting. Based on the application we should hear back by late February or early March. ?
