Has anyone done their fingerprints yet?

I am freaking out, I got my fingerprints done Friday, and they showed that I have a record of shoplifting 13 years ago when I was 17. I am so scared that will prevent me from getting into the program.

Really famlatina! sorry to hear that, nobody is ferfect, hopefully that won't be a problem since it happened when you was a teen. I got my result and all is clear, so I'm happy for that.

For those of you who got accepted in the nursing program. Can you tell me anything anything about the Teas I am planning to go take it and I was wondering if the study guide really does help.

I also was arrested for shop lifting as a teen I was 13 years old. So can you let me know how everything worked out with you. I haven't applied for the program yet.

Hi Lynn, I used the TEAS guide to prepare for the test but it didn't have a lot of info for the science portion. I used the McGraw Hill nursing entrance test guide instead. I also purchased the TEAS practice test online. The way it works is that you have two opportunities to take the test. When you take it the first time, they tell you your individual scores in each section and then you can use that info to develop your own study plan. When you are ready to take the real test, then you can use your second chance to see where you are or if you need any extra practice.

We hoping things work out for you famlatina, and Lyn12 the teas practice book was really a good help, the real teas test is similar to those practice tests in the practice book. Keep practicing and time yourself when you practice those practice test.

Ok im am all new to this, i want to become an rn, i want to go to valencia, i work full time and need to take classes at night time, can you please tell me my first steps in becoming a rn, how long is the program part time, whats the cost when i graduate? is it hard to get into valencia?

seaworld532- Valencia doesnt have night classes. It is a full time program. I believe it is from 8-4.
