Hey everyone! I just applied to the Valencia college traditional ASN nursing program. Hoping to start Spring of 2020. Just wanted to create this thread for those of us who are applying right now after summer semester. Supposed to hear back 6-8 weeks from now. Let’s update each other with our acceptance letters and any questions we may have during the wait ?

Well you never know, it's always best to keep positive! But also it depends on a few factors, what campuses did you apply for? And for day or night?

I applied for Daytime - I believe I put no preference on the campus. I really don't care which campus. I currently go to both.

Yeah I think for Daytime there might be a one semester wait, but who knows. They might have less people on the waitlist from previous terms. At least that's what I'm hoping for. I applied for both day and night but for only West, wish I also applied to Osceola though to increase my chances

That's good! I should've applied for nights as well. I don't know why I didn't. I'm hoping I get in. I don't want to wait.

Honestly I would rather do the day classes anyway. Well I guess we should be finding out any day now! I've been checking my email CONSTANTLY like a psycho lol

@Marie0617 I applied toward the end of August because of issues getting my scores over. I have that feeling too..the program advisor was saying it'll probably be a semester or two wait so I might get in the summer or fall, so I was curious to see how long everyone had to wait or has been waiting.

Last years thread found out on October 24th. I would be super happy if it was tomorrow instead! How did you figure the 22nd or 23rd
@Kelruiz Yes waiting 6-8 weeks is torture lol I didn't get in to Seminole and have a feeling I'll be waiting for Valencia...I got a call/email about my transcript there was some miscommunication but they stated I had until 10/22 to fix it. So I'm guessing after that date is when they'll start letting people know.

Oh wow okay so it should definitely be at least by Friday!

Yeah every time I get a notification from this thread the subject says "Valencia College Spring 2020" and my heart drops! lol just pure torture
@Raven235 I applied for Fall 2019 daytime at west in either the middle or end of April (I forgot the exact date) and got waitlisted. I then applied for night time at west for spring 2020 in July just in case I got waitlisted again. But I think I will get in (preferably daytime) because there were some people who applied around the same time as me and got accepted for Fall and some who got waitlisted as well.
