How long are people keeping their lady partsl table set-ups for delivery open for? Is there a standard length of time that is suggested before having to "Tear-down" ?

Weird, we never set-up until we are ready to deliver. OK, maybe when we call the docs to come for delivery. If the tech can't do it, the nurse does it herself. I can't imagine why you'd want a table set-up for 12 hours. It would just take up room, IMO
My motto is to always be prepared. Whenever I first get a labor patient who's active, I always get my Pit ready, PPH meds in the room, and I set my table up and make sure the mask and delee are ready and at the right settings.
You never know when someone is going to precip, and I don't want to be there catching a baby with nothing but a pair of gloves ready.
A set table takes up no more room than an unset table (we keep a table in each labor room, and it's generally kept in a closet).
