I feel like i have so many questions but i can't think of them fast enough for this forum. But thank you so much. I will try calling them tomorrow to get info on what i should have my department send them because I believe the wanted more than just my transcripts. Something about clinical hours as well. Hopefully its okay for me to send them before these 30 days are up.

Thank you guys so much for replying!

Pandamom44, so what did you wait 30 days for? And called & asked if what was done? I was given no instructions on what I should do or anything so I'm kind of lost.

SWimbish how long did you wait after you paid for your initial application for them to contact you? And how did you know what documents to send the VA BON?

Well. I completed the application and Pearson application in April with the instruction from my school that until grades were finalized we would not hear anything from them. I heard from them once they received my transcripts (further explanation below) When you complete the application it should tell you what documents you need to send. I got married in nursing school and they called me once receiving my transcripts asking for a copy of my marriage license (due to name change). This only delayed me receiving my ATT by one day.

Did you have to wait the 30 days as well before you saw changes on your checklist? & when you say i should see what documents my school needs to send are you talking about information on the checklist?

Hey everyone,

My school graduated 5/13 and I have YET to receive my ATT here in Virginia. We completed our BON applications, Pearson registration, and fingerprints back in Late March/Early April. I think 1 or 2 students have received their ATTs and now have to keep altering my start date for work due to not having the ATT yet.

Should I resubmit my transcripts to see it it will speed up the process? On the licensure page Declare Eligibility and Review Transcript both say unchecked everything else was completed back at the end of April- weeks after I had finished my other requirements (other than transmit NCLEX score obviously). Our school SAYS they submitted transcripts the week after we graduated... how much longer should I expect to wait!

Thanks!

I just recently finally got my ATT. it's good that you know they have reviewed your application. Did your schools nursing department send the letter verifying the clinical hours? Is that section checked as well? That could possibly be what they are waiting on. If you did that and it is checked off then yeah I would suggest resubmitting your trascripts. When everything for me was finally checked off I got my ATT the same day.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes, it said my application had been checked back with all of the other things in late april. What left unchecked are those 3 things i mentioned before (transcripts, declared eligible, and nclex scores transmitted).

I wont get penalized/pushed to the end of the list by re-submitting my transcripts will I? Our nursing program instructors said that BON says they are reviewing transcripts from 5/27! Which is 2 weeks to the day after I graduated. Yet, no ATT for me.

When/where did you graduate and submit your stuff?

Thanks for your help!

I graduated May 1 from my school in Michigan but my department didn't send them anything so I had to do everything myself. I submitted my initial application May 12, they got my fingerprints June 8th, they reviewed my application June 16, and I sent them my transcripts on June 9th the checklist says they got it and the letter on June 21 and I was declared eligible the same day.

I don't see why you would be penalized for resubmitting that, Ive never heard of that.
