Hello! Didn't see any post for the upcoming cohort for UWF 2017 Nursing program hopefuls, so I decided to make one. Just a place to compare stats and ask and answer questions for anyone. I'll start by saying I have
GPA: 3.55
TEAS SCORE: 85
MEDICAL EXPERIENCE: 60+
RECOMMEDED COURSES: all four completed patho, med term, psychology, sociology
from what i know results should be sent out the second week of April. Is the anxiety killing anyone else???
From what I was able to look up about the courses for fall it seems the class schedule will be around the ballpark of
Mon - 9-12, 1-3
Tues - 9-12
Wed - 9-12
And either Thurs or Fri - 630-330
I don't know anything about what the clinicals will be like and how they will work into our schedule though, hopefully we'll be able to find out more upon acceptance! *fingers crossed*
Hello everyone, my friend that is currently in the program said that the committee met on the 24th, and that the rest of the faculty in the dept. such as instructors do a secondary vote which was apparently due 4/07/17. Letters can usually go out a little bit earlier. I have noticed that since being a student here acceptance letters go out the earliest, and the denied letter are what go out last. but who knows for sure. I am really hoping myself that I get accepted.
Argo19 I'm very anxious! But I'll start checking by Thursday as I don't really think they would be sent out by now. However I always get an alert everytime I get a new email. So I'm pretty sure I'll be aware on time. good Luck!
I don't have any info on that. But I do hope it will be earlier in the day because it really kills me when schools send out letters like by the end of the day! It's really hard to go about my day lol
