Hello! Didn't see any post for the upcoming cohort for UWF 2017 Nursing program hopefuls, so I decided to make one. Just a place to compare stats and ask and answer questions for anyone. I'll start by saying I have
GPA: 3.55
TEAS SCORE: 85
MEDICAL EXPERIENCE: 60+
RECOMMEDED COURSES: all four completed patho, med term, psychology, sociology
from what i know results should be sent out the second week of April. Is the anxiety killing anyone else???
Hey guys! I applied for Spring, anxiously waiting to hear back. Are we notified only by mail, or is there an email sent? Worried about my stats, GPA was like 3.2 but TEAS was 93.3. 2 of the 4 recommended classes, 2 in progress. Good luck everyone!

Has anyone heard of people getting in the BSN program at UWF without meeting the minimum GPA requirement? I made a 90% on my TEAS exam, I have all 4 recommended courses, and I work at a hospital so I have over 60 hrs of experience. My GPA is only a 2.96 though because I have done 3 major changes and have a lot of classes on my transcript, two of which I didn't do so hot in.
I haven't heard of anyone specifically but I would definitely contact the school. Your TEAS score is very good! Another suggestion is to take some more classes until your GPA reaches 3.0. You could take some really easy classes online. I would definitely talk to the school though. Is your pre-req GPA above a 3.0?

Yes! Plus the deadline closed pretty early for a spring semester too. Best of luck to you too!
