UWF Fall BSN 2013 Applicants

Hi!

I applied to UWF for their BSN nursing program and I have not seen any other forums about UWF! Has anyone else applied? What were your stats? I'm excited but nervous and I hope I get accepted! The wait is scary! Hopefully we can talk on this form about the application progress.

Does anyone know what the schedule usually looks like? For example: would we attend 4 or 5 days, and what hours are the norm?

I know that some of the classes are online, but for the first semester, when I looked up course schedules for this fall, the classes are long, but 1-2 days/week each. For example: Concepts of Nursing Practice is Thursdays, 7:30-9:20, Med/Surg Nursing is Mondays and Fridays 8-noon. Then clinicals/lab may be Tuesday/Wednesday's? My advisor gave me the degree plan they try to follow, and it lists those two classes + Pharmacology, which is online.

I got my email too and didn't get in :( I called and she said if I would have had the volunteer hours, I could have made alternate- and if I had the volunteer + recommended classes then I would have made top 50.. But I had neither of those.

So that's 5 out of 11 schools that have turned me down. Hey, still 6 more to go! *maybe it's time to volunteer*
