you have to remember that its a holistic review process. your GPA is only a part of your application. I wouldn't worry too much about one portion of your application like GPA (obviously easier said than done).

Haven't heard anything yet April, I'm getting super nervous. I looked at a post from Fall 2020 UW cohort and it looks like they all heard second week of April. I keep hoping I'm going to hear something sooner but I haven't seen anything yet. I just got a response from another school yesterday and it was a no, so I'm very anxious about getting in here.

If I’m not remembering this wrong, the website says all decisions are sent out by March 15th. Or maybe there will be some delays.m since there are so many more applicants this year. Especially for UW.

The BSN decisions should come out mid April! So, about another month. How many of you have UW as your 1st choice??

I think that's for general degree's. If you look back a few comments someone posted a screenshot from the nursing application webpage that say's they would be sending notification out in April with a requirement to respond by May.

UW is my first choice. I will start looking into Fall ADN programs if I don't get in here.

@April Yang

I know that admissions for freshmen just went out last night. You may have got that date confused!

General admission to the university was sent out by March 15. Admission to the school of nursing will be out before mid April.

@TheOrenNurse did you apply for any other Universities? After investing sooo much into the University application processes and learning what they offer, I don't know if I can even go the ADN route if I don't get admitted to any of them.

OMG, thanks for letting me know. ? honestly, I don’t hope high for UW,  my GPA is not perfect, even though I know GPA is not the only thing they look at. But I still make me feel less confident about it. however,  I would like to know where am I at in this competitive application process.

Unfortunately yes, and I've gotten basically the same answer from all of them; my application looks amazing/great, but it's been the most competitive year they've had in several years. It's been disappointment after disappointment. I agree on the process and what I've been through to get into a University, but I am also determined to get the last of what I need to do started this year, and if that means I have to go the ADN route then I will ?

Even my husband kept telling me that he thought for sure I wouldn't have any issues with 14 years of healthcare experience, being a first generation college student and an AAS-DTA with a 3.7 GPA in my pre-nursing classes.

I can't believe I've been let down so many times, it is really unfortunate ?

@TheOrenNurse I'm so sorry to hear. I too have a 3.7/3.8 multiple honor rolls, deans lists, presidents list, phi theta kappa recognition and I'm SCARED. Isn't that just wild. I've been denied from 1 out of 3 so far. Well, we're all smart and have done a lot to get to this process! I'm proud of us!! Best wishes to everyone!!
