  1. Hi ya'll, just received a rejection letter from UW School of Nursing in my email inbox. Looks like all letters are going out tonight. I'm glad it happened while I wasn't at work, wishing you all the best of luck!
  2. Nothing yet here either, my heart feels like it's going to fly out of my chest LOL Congrats! I'm still waiting on something here, did you get an email?
  3. I applied as a transfer :) I'm hopeful that when it's meant to be it will be! My stomach has been a wreck this week with UW decisions going out soon LOL
  4. I did apply right at the deadline unfortunately. I actually had thought I missed the deadline and then when I realized I didn't I rushed through what I hadn't finished on the application to get it turned in on time. This probably was a whole other factor to the reason I didn't get in.
  5. I heard in Mid to end of March that I didn't get into the nursing program at PLU. I got a very generalized message that basically said they got a lot of applications and don't have time to respond to everyone and to try again next year or talk to the counseler about other pathway's into nursing.
  6. I work for UW and rumor is.... Decisions are going out 4/23! I hope this is true and if not that maybe it'll happen sooner! I did not get in there but was offered acceptance into the college itself and now they are more or less harassing me about committing to a different program. I've been asking for more information of why I wasn't accepted into the nursing program and have gotten a run around ? I hate this whole process. So frustrating!
  7. Unfortunately yes, and I've gotten basically the same answer from all of them; my application looks amazing/great, but it's been the most competitive year they've had in several years. It's been disappointment after disappointment. I agree on the process and what I've been through to get into a University, but I am also determined to get the last of what I need to do started this year, and if that means I have to go the ADN route then I will ? Even my husband kept telling me that he thought for sure I wouldn't have any issues with 14 years of healthcare experience, being a first generation college student and an AAS-DTA with a 3.7 GPA in my pre-nursing classes. I can't believe I've been let down so many times, it is really unfortunate ?
  8. I think that's for general degree's. If you look back a few comments someone posted a screenshot from the nursing application webpage that say's they would be sending notification out in April with a requirement to respond by May. UW is my first choice. I will start looking into Fall ADN programs if I don't get in here.
  9. Haven't heard anything yet April, I'm getting super nervous. I looked at a post from Fall 2020 UW cohort and it looks like they all heard second week of April. I keep hoping I'm going to hear something sooner but I haven't seen anything yet. I just got a response from another school yesterday and it was a no, so I'm very anxious about getting in here.
