UW Madison 2014 Nurse Residency Program

Hello! I'm applying for the UW Madison Nurse Residency Program for the summer of 2014. I'll be a May 2014 graduate with a BSN. Is anyone else applying for this Nurse Residency program or have applied/went through the program in the past?

I'm in your shoes as well. Graduating next spring - I just finished applying this week. Based on everything I've been reading, it seems like a fantastic hospital to work in.

I applied last week and already have a phone interview! I'm excited but nervous. Do you know much about the interview process?

I have a phone interview as well! Hopefully that's a good sign. :). Based on what I've been able to dig up, if we are selected as finalists, they will ask for references so they can email them a form to fill out. Beyond that, I don't really have any substantial ideas about it. I imagine that if the phone interview goes well, and the references check out, that they may invite candidates to Madison ton interview in person and see the facilities.

I was surprised how quick I got called for the phone interview. They must do them on a rolling basis. I think I've read everything there is on the internet about the program, but still have a lot of questions! I think you're probably right on how things progress. After reading the past forums about the program I gathered that in-person interviews take place in January but we don't find out until March if we got a position!

I don't know about soxintricate, but I got a phone call within a couple days.

I got a call in three business days and scheduled for a phone interview for a week later (it is this coming Tuesday). /username, when is yours scheduled for?

I have my interview tuesday as well. I'm actually not 100% sure about specialty, although I'm shooting for ED, TLC, cardiac or forensics. I'm also from Minnesota.
