UVIC NP 2022

Hi all! I am super early to the game but am looking to connect with anyone looking to apply to UVIC's FNP program, starting fall of 2022, as well as anyone currently enrolled. My background is in NICU, however I am looking forward to advancing my nursing practice as an NP. Let me know! ?

Has anyone else heard back? I just received notice I was accepted! Hoping to see if anyone knows how schedules have looked in previous years!

@amandaG23 congrats on getting into the program! I did reach out and ask a bit about the schedule for this year - I was told the courses would likely be all asynchronous except for some set dates to meet with the instructor online synchronously (TBD). There will also be some on campus skill sessions sometime between Jan-April of next year.

Thank you for the reply!! I am so curious how everything falls and for practicum placement requests haha. For anyone else who has accepted/heard back, we could create a group chat somewhere!

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

 The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
