UVA CNL Summer 2018

Hi!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to UVA's MSN CNL program for Summer 2018. I finish up my last two prerequisites this week. I'm nervous, but excited to apply! Just wanted to see if there's anyone out there in the same boat as me. I look forward to hearing from you! :)

Wait where did you see that letters go out this week? I had no idea!

I sent an email on 10/24 asking Mr. Seid about any updates he may have. He informed me that they would be "letting folks know about interviews around November 13".

I received my email for an interview today as well! Congrats! I wonder how many they actually interview as compared to applications and acceptance.

I got an email for a interview too! So excited!! Does anyone know the process of the interviews? For example, how long is it? Are there any events prior or after the interviews?

Hey Everyone! Congrats on getting interviews :) I'm currently part of the 2019 CNL Cohort and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. You've picked a wonderful program. Interviews last year only lasted about 10 minutes, in person. If it is the same this year, you will meet with two current professors and they will ask you a few questions. Afterwards, you are welcome to go on a tour of the school. I'd personally recommend making a portfolio with a photo attached. It will help them remember you! :)

Hi everyone! I received an email to interview today, congrats to everyone else who did as well! Does anyone have an idea of the actual start date of the program? The website states May 2018, but wasn't sure if that meant a regular summer session or not.

Hi All!

I received an invitation to interview with UVA (12/9) and UPenn (12/11)!

Is anyone else in the same boat as me and doing both these interviews? If you're driving from Charlottesville to Philly, would you want some company? (And I can chip in for gas) :D
