UTSW Residency Winter 2021

Hello everyone!

Thought I would start s UTSW residency thread since I haven't seen one yet! Starting this for everyone who has applied or is planning to. 

Anyone else heard back yet? I interviewed for oncology and anxiously waiting for a call or email. The wait is the worst.. ?

anyone else receive an offer from UTSW but waiting to hear back from another hospital? how are yall handling that?

I received an offer and I still have interviews/am waiting on responses. I think you just have to weigh what you want. I was only given 48 hrs to respond because there is a waiting list. It's exactly what I want, so I responded immediately.

I haven’t heard anything back from women’s services since my interview last week.

I interviewed for women’s as well as ED. I received an offer from ED when she told me that there was only one position available for Women’s and that person was contacted. Sorry ?

Hey guys, anyone here starting in the 16th heard anything about our first couple weeks? I haven’t received a schedule or information about when to go to HR. I’ve done my drug screen, stuff with employee health and background check but that’s it.

I emailed them yesterday about a schedule, but haven't heard back.  Otherwise, I haven't heard anything for awhile.
