UTSW July 2019 Nurse Residency

Hello, I applied to the UTSW Nurse Residency for July 2019. I applied for acute medical and surgical. I'm waiting to for more updates, and to hopefully get an interview. Any one who applied could you please state what units you've applied for, have you gone on and interviews, what the interviews are like, and if you get hired or rejected? Thank you! I've applied to acute medical and acute surgical, and I haven't heard anything back yet. I'll post any updates I've made!

I'm going into surgical services and haven't gotten mine either! A girl going into the ED got hers on Wednesday.

I think they are sending them out by department. I’m doing ED as well.

I'll be in the NICU residency and I received mine last Wednesday. My friend will be in the MICU and he received his last Tuesday.

have you completed all your tasks? does your I-9 says overdue

Yes, it does. But it won't show completed until HR does their part and that could be within 3 days of hire. Have you heard from Occupational Health? Are we supposed to contact them or are they supposed to reach out to us?

Do any of y'all know when they post jobs for the residencies? How early would they post a job for the February nurse residency if that is the next one?

Oh okay just making sure I was doing everything correct. No i haven't I sent an email to our recruiter LJ, earlier today but haven't heard back. I'm sure we should be getting that done soon. We are almost in the 30 day range from starting

I want to say application will open in October? or maybe earlier. I would just keep checking on the UTSW website.
