Hi future nurses! I didn't see a discussion board for the summer term of 2017, so I decided to make one myself(: Let's use this forum to discuss grades, TEAS, and the application process. This does include venting! We all know how anxiety kicks in when there's a bump in the road. Good luck to everyone that is applying!

I can't wait for the application period opens. Anyone that is re-applying, any tips?

I'm also waiting for an update on acceptance. I hope we all here soon!

I hope so. At my interview on the 1st I was told that I would hear back within 3-4 weeks. Next week will be 3 weeks so we will see.

Yes I believe it was the academic counselor. Her name was Kaci. Who was your interviewer?

Just received my acceptance today!! Congratulations to everyone who will be joining our Summer 2017 class! I am a MAC user and paid my deposit. Did anyone else have their green check turn into a green dot after paying? I just want to double check that I did not mess anything up.

Mine was Connie. I think she was a nursing professor...it was a skype interview so she was taking notes during the interview.

My interviewer was taking notes also. Did anyone else have the counselor interview them? She was very nice and loved to talk lol

I had a academic counselor interview me and she was taking notes. I had my interview on the 12/09, waiting to hear back as well.

I'm still waiting for one also, I had called about a week ago and she had told me to not worry because they're doing interviews through February so hopefully we get one soon

I got in and I am so excited!!! This is by far the greatest Christmas gift I have ever received. UTMB has always been my dream school. Congratulations to everyone who has already been accepted and good luck to everyone waiting to hear! Merry Christmas everyone :))))
