UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

There is general science, Anatomy and Physiology 1&2 and some others, but I felt like it was mostly questions about Anatomy and Physiology. There's about 30 questions or so for that section.

I had an interview with Jolly Daniel on the 19th as well and am still waiting to hear. 4 weeks is so long! I'm hoping they haven't already accepted everyone

Hey guys, I just received an email today regarding an interview for the waitlist. Did anyone receive the same email too? What should I expect?

I received the same email last week and did a Skype interview on Thursday. They ask you same questions as everyone else and really just want to get to know you and your motivations.

I think the majority of us have heard back as accepted and the reason the thread is dead is cause we are waiting on the background checks to come out for November

Quick question, after you pay the $200 deposit what do you do next? I barely received the acceptance in the mail and my deadline is tomorrow. Do we have to mail the papers we sign or can we email them?

I believe if you accepted and paid on mystar, you don't have to have the papers there by tomorrow. At least that's how I understood it. I just mailed mine today.

you need to email them in tomorrow asap, the mystar acceptance and deadline are 2 different things since you need to sign and date the required paperwork on the mail that was sent, i asked about that when i first got them and was told you need to respond and have the paperwork submitted by the deadline.

Anyone planning on attending the Destination Galveston event? Are you planning to take your family with you (it asks for number of guests, so I'm assuming family is welcome?)?
