UTMB Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

does anyone know if there is a facebook page set up for those of us accepted? yes, i could read through the thread to figure it out, but it will take forever on my phone so if anyone knows that would be helpful :)

Facebook link was sent out with the student guide via email, if you haven't received it you will have to wait until that email is sent to you especially if you were just accepted.

Hey @onthepath, how long did it take you to get your student guide after acceptance?

Hey guys had my interview! Now the wait is on for me. Heh heh

Good luck @sunrise89 :)

@onepath91 thanks for the reply. about 30 minutes after I posted this I got my student guide and email :)

Just got my emails too í ½í¸‚ Sorry @onthepath I'm impatient lol

I'm not sure where/how to pursue finding a room-mate or possibly room-mates. But I thought maybe I would start the conversation on here, considering there isn't much communication on the Spring 2019 facebook page.

This is probably your best spot from what I know people usually couple up into a group of 4 and rent a house..that's my advice...also depends on what kind of drive you want when going to class and going to clinicals..I'll be moving near the campus with my wife and dog and I can already tell you now by the calls I have if you are moving and have a big dog it's gonna be hard..best of luck

That's alright I was like that as well when I got accepted the wait was dreadful and now we all wait till November till we can finish the rest of the process

Also wouldn't hurt to actually post something on the fb..I'm sure someone else is in the same situation...we are all gonna end up meeting eventually so it's best to get to know each other sooner than later
