UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

For those that have submitted their application before the May 31 deadline and prior to completing the current spring semester, will you be submitting your current semester transcripts directly to UTMB, or just to NursingCAS? I found on UTMB's website that you must send transcripts directly to UTMB once accepted, but nothing about prior to acceptance.

Transcripts get directly submitted via nursing cas so they can verify the grades..if you are just completing this spring semester and have already submitted your nursing cas app. Then the transcripts will have to be sent to UTMB directly. Hope this answer helps

I am applying for the Spring 2018 semester and I sent my application in at the end of March. I then received my information for My Star. They told me to keep checking my To Do list, but there hasn't been anything pop up. I'm hoping that is a good thing... Has anyone had anything pop up in their to do list?

Nothing should come up if you turned in all your final transcripts and sent your teas scores to utmb..I applied the day the application open so I was done with everything in 2 weeks..all there is now is to wait for the deadline to pass before they send out interviews

I am enrolled in a few classes right now, Texas government (should receive an A), Chemistry (received a B), and lifespan (should receive an A). I am taking my elective science in the fall.

TEAS scores-

Total- 74

Math-81.3

Reading-76.6

English-70.8

Science-72.3

Overall GPA is 3.8

Science GPA is 3.67

(GPA is based off of what nursingcas calculated)

It should be there make sure you are choosing the correct name..it should say university of Texas medical branch

Hey ya'll,

I've applied before but I'm retaking my TEAS this time the third week of May. Do yall know if I can submit my application now and send in my teas score right after I take it?
