Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!
I'm accepted into UTMB! When Liz called me Friday to tell me I would be on one of the wait lists, we talked and realized that somehow the committee never received the information about my education, CPA, or experience. She sent my application back to the committee, and I just received the acceptance email. Sheesh!!! But yay!!!
I know! I cried when we got off of the phone. I have no idea how that information was missed! And if she hadn't made the phone calls on Friday, which she told me was so that applicants would stop calling her lol, it never would have been brought up. I included all of it in my application, even sent my resume, a copy of my CPA license, and discussed it in depth during my interview. But the ones making the decisions never received it?!?! So I'm thankful I'm in, and feeling extremely lucky and unlucky at the same time! I'm so relieved though, and glad the wait is over. And congrats to you! For what it's worth, I am friend's with a dean at a school of nursing, and she told me it is not unusual for a big school to go through their entire wait list, and not even have a full class once the semester begins. So there's a good chance for those wait listed to make it into spring. If not, summer is right around the corner.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
I'm so glad you got in. When I read all of your information (the one you posted here) I could not believe that you haven't been accepted yet, it almost made mad! So congratulations again! you deserve this so much.

Mine was not turned in late, my interview was July 31. When was yours? I didn't mean that there's no way we can't get straight accepted, that's just the impression I got from what others have been told. Hopefully there is! If they told you there were still spots and they were deciding to accept the last few of us or waitlist, like you said in your post CoolBeans7, then I think that's probably a more accurate picture of what's happening :] I think it depends on who people talk to, it's a bit like playing telephone, I think every one has been told a little different.
