UTMB Spring 2016

Published

Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!

I'm sorry :( It sucks to wait this long and be denied. I still haven't heard one way or another but this wait is something else. I hope to hear something soon, one way or another, so the anticipation will be over.

I'm extremely sorry to hear that. Continue to apply, don't give up. Did anybody student center change after notification???

You guys, I cannot believe they actually made you wait this long only to deny you. I haven't heard either way yet, and I'm in shock they could be that cold. I'm so sorry to hear this.

I just got the email saying they are unable to admit me. Good luck to everyone else!

Look into University of Miami's Accelerated Program, I got an email saying they extended the deadline to November.

I called and they told me they finished making all decisions Monday, so the rest of us waiting should hear back by the end of the week. The waiting game continues... did anyone hear anything today? At least the waiting game seems to be coming to a close. I'm trying to be positive.

It's driving me crazy waiting this long, I interviewed July 31 and it seems that no one else that interviewed on my day has heard back. Hope this waiting game ends soon, I feel like they keep extending the time frame every few days. Good luck everyone!

mkar did they issue you any fingerprinting instructions? I'm just curious.

I'm sorry to hear that mergrey20, did they issue you any fingerprinting instructions though? I'm just curious.

How did everyone study for their teas? I used the ati study guide and also purchased their tests but it didn't seem to help all that much? Any other sources to study that actually work?

Also did anyone take any test prep courses?

No they did not

The ati study guide and online tests seemed to be helpful to me. I went a little deeper on the subjects then the book did and also had a tutor to break down ideas I was unsure about. YouTube videos of people that recently took the test also helped. I think it may also have a lot to do with what version of the test you get.
