UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

There are 22 ppl in our group now and the school accept 130.

I applied to UTMB for Fall 2018 and was denied, so I am reapplying for Summer 2019. I plan on retaking my TEAS because that was my weakest part of my application. My question is should I send in my application now since it is complete, pending my new TEAS score or should I wait until after I get my updated TEAS score? I plan on retaking the TEAS July 31st. Is UTMB like a first come, first Serve? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

Yes, they are technically a first come first serve! So I think you should go ahead and send it and then call them and make sure they know you re took the teas and send it to them!

I doubt they are first come, first serve. I summited my application the day before the deadline and I got my interview next week.

I think it is best to just send in your application as soon as possible. The way I think about it is if they have 200 students who are all over qualified to be accepted.. then how do they decide to let in? I would imagine it comes down to first come first serve who is meeting all of their requirements. Before you send it in, try to re-work your personal statement, I feel like the personal statement weighs heavily on your application. I believe that you can send in the updated TEAS Scores to Mrs. Botello through email, but I would call to double check.
