UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I just got the same email today, but I've already had my interview. Mystar is still a green circle though, no green check yet.

I have had no interview yet or been invited to have one. Should we definitely start the process of doing the FBI background check just in case?

I'm going to. We're going to need it sooner or later.

I called them and they said they sent it to everyone that applied because a background check is required for everyone who is planning to be a nurse. So for those who didn't hear anything/get an interview invite, we will get a decision 2-4 weeks.

Congratss! I might be! I still have to talk about moving and stuff with my parents...right now I'm at UT in Austin. Is anybody else from here?

I just graduated from UT Austin in May, but I've already moved down to Galveston to take care of a few pre-reqs at the community college. (:

Yes stay hopeful for the people who haven't heard anything yet! I waited 7 weeks after my interview to get accepted!

That's awesome :) I'm finishing up on some pre-reqs here and it's been a hassle in registering for the classes.

Hi everyone! I was recently accepted into UTMB for Spring 2015 and ran across this site. I'm currently living in Nacogdoches and attend Stephen F. Austin State University. I will be moving to Galveston over christmas break and will be looking for roommates! So if anyone is looking for roommates in Galveston, let me know!
