UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009
Who here is applying for it?
Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.
Anyone taken it yet?
I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.
Kelly2010,
Yes, the first semester definitely takes up a big portion of your life. It IS do-able, you just have to have excellent time management skills. That is probably the most important thing. I recommend getting a big planner the first couple days of class and writing EVERYthing in it. Your first semester may be different, but my schedule was Monday 9am-5pm (lecture/theory), Tuesday 9-5 (lecture/theory), Wednesday (lab) 9am-12, Thursday clinical 6:30am-4:30pm, Friday (lab) 9am-12. Like I said, the incoming class may be different. The clinicals were on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and your second lab day would depend on what day you did NOT have clinical. Clinicals don't start until the 4th week of class.
Also, just some other advice...if you get an opportunity to take pathophysiology over the summer, I would go ahead and do it. It won't help as a credit where you would test out of it like in other college courses, but would definitely help you prepare for pathopharm (pathophysiology/pharmacology...its your first semester, and its a 4 hour lecture. Its probably the most difficult class you'll take, but I only tell you this so you guys know what you're getting into. Again, its do-able, its just time-consuming).
Hope this helps.
No I hadn't heard anything from them and then I was on the Midwestern forum earlier and they were saying you had to call up there to find out. I called and left a message and then like 30 minutes later someone called me back saying that I had got in. She said they hadn't sent out any information though. Kind of weird, I thought. I also applied to Texas Tech and have not heard anything at all from them, either.

I was 2nd round and live in clear lake. I'm still waiting to hear from my hubby about the mail. I don't get home until after 6 or so.
