UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009
Who here is applying for it?
Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.
Anyone taken it yet?
I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.
I know! Me too. My friend was in the first round of interviews and heard back asap..I figured the same too. I'm doing the traditional also but I will have a BS because I'm graduating from auniversity first. So I was just curious. Did anyone apply to texas tech nursing or ut arlington nursing? Are most of y'all done with your pre-reqs?
So the program is fully online for those that already have a Bach degree and the clinicals are located in Austin. You never have to go to the Lubbock campus and you are paired with a nurse in Austin to be your mentor. I think it's a great program with an opportunity to learn at a different more hands on level.
This and UT were the only programs I applied to. I do not have a degree in anything else.. I am only 18 btw. is there anyone else 18 or will I be the baby? lol... I was in the first interview and was allready accepted and I have to finish up my science elective (i'll be taking biology) and my humanity ( intro to philosopy) this summer.

I applied for the Texas Tech nursing program, too.
I have a BS already, but since I was able to finish up my pre-recs (last one this summer) I decided to go ahead and apply for Fall. I only applied to UTMB this go around. If I do not get in I will apply for the Spring Accelerated program @ UTMB as well as other schools. One of the bad things about already having a degree is undergrad financial aid is limited, and to my knowledge there is only one program in the state that offers a straight to masters nursing degree (MSN) and that is UT in Austin.
I was very surprised that the first group of interviewers heard so soon (what a relief), I think the wait the rest of us are experiencing is normal.
Ok, back to waiting.....
LOL.. i'll just be happy to get my BSN! I'll be 21 when I graduate UTMB
I really did not care at all what one I got into... but I didn't even get a interview for UT houston... the reading on the NET did me in i think but i still has a 79 composite... idk
thank you i have worked very hard! took 16 hrs my first semester and A&P1.. was NOT prepared for college.. that class kicked my butt! Still passed it though!

I know! It wouldn't have been that bad if no one from the first interview had heard anything, but since they have I kinda expected to hear something by now.
