Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)
At the bottom of mySTAR did the green dot that said "accepted" turn back to "complete"? or did you also get an email from enrollment services with a new username?

no it still is green, but it did charged me the $206 and I still have not received another email. I've tried to call for help but so far no one has been able to help
You will receive an email within one or two weeks with instructions to change your MYSTAR account and create your email. You'll also receive a new student guide about the same time. There's not much to do right now as most, if not everyone, are awaiting instructions to submit vaccine records and begin background checks for the BON. Hope that helps.
I think they said that May is when everyone should know their decision. I'm not sure though. I hope we find out before May! I hoping for this week or next!!

Has anyone reapplied for spring and received an email about the supplemental application? I wasn't sure If I needed to pay the $45 fee and recreate a MYSTAR account. I called them and enrollment services seemed surprised I haven't heard anything yet.... but I know this process takes such a long time.

hey! I also reapplied for spring and yes you do have to do the supplemental application again and pay; your mystar will actually stay the same; but it'll show all the applications that you've put in with them so far.
I emailed admissions yesterday to see when I'd hear something back and this is what they said:
"Applications are still being reviewed and if you haven't heard anything, it shouldn't be longer than 4 weeks as we are toward the end of making decisions."
