UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

Honestly I'm not sure but registration will be complete for all admitted students by mid august.

Hey guys I've been following this thread since March but I didnt have an account and finally I decided to create one today. My remaining prerequisites appeared today also in mystar!! I hope that means good news for us������. I've seen in past forums and in this one that it usually changes a day or a week before you received your acceptance crossing fingers for all of us������

Did your mystar account change before receiving your acceptance ?

Yes, I was waiting for word before sending in my final transcript so a missing class appeared on mystar to do list a month or two after the application deadline. Don't lose hope, I actually received a premature rejection letter a few days after that. Obviously they changed their minds. My advice to you is to clear the to do list right away as it comes. It might give you a better advantage having the most things completed if not all.

I'm just slowly losing hope because I've completed EVERYTHING and am still on the waiting list. Now that finding out Danny was rejected and now offered acceptance makes me feel more discouraged but I'm still trying to have hope. Thanks for updating everyone on y'all's situation cause sometimes it sucks not knowing anything. Good luck this school year guys!

Nursectp, don't let my situation put u down. I spoke to the office last month and they said admission will be determine up until fall class starts. For me, they probably changed their mind bc I finally submitted my resume showing details of my 8 years and 2 tours of practicing medicine in the service and that most expenses will be paid for by uncle sam. And also I'm on the fast track to join back up after nursing school. So don't compare, my situation is very different.

Pre requisites GPA: 3.94

TEAS: 75. Not so great í ½í¸­

I also had my classes appear on my to do list about 5 days before my acceptance. I was on the waitlist as well
