Anyone else applying to UTMB for fall 2016?

I also applied for Fall and have not heard anything back yet.

There was an issue with my transcripts being verified before the deadline so I'm assuming that may have messed up my chances.

My stats:

3.75 overall

3.8 Science/math

91 TEAS

I don't have hands on healthcare experience, but i did work in a military hospital and an assisted living facility in non medical roles.Congrats everyone with interviews and good luck!!!

They may just have not reviewed your application yet because it looks like you're qualified for the honors program. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but if an applicant qualifies for the program, they're granted automatic admission and the chance to interview for the honors program. So don't fret! :)

I agree. Your stats look great, I might be wrong about this but doesn't nursing cas sometimes verify transcripts post deadline (as long as everything is turned in) and it doesn't harm you? I looked over the post on this topic for last year and plenty of people waited for their transcripts to be verified. Maybe call the school and ask? Good luck!

I think I read somewhere that it takes NCAS about 3 weeks to post your verified transcript online. So it may already be verified but not posted yet. If it's been way past 3 weeks, you may want to call and ask :]

By the way, if its an issue with NCAS, I think you should call NCAS service not the school

I did contact NursingCAS a few times to inquire about the status of my transcripts. I submitted official transcripts Jan 3rd and they were verified Feb 10th. I'm happy to hear UTMB allows a little wiggle room in the timeline of verification.

I may be studying alongside some of you after all.

If accepted, I'll be moving from WA. Anyone else from out of state?

I also got an email for an interview!

Does anyone know how long the interviews are supposed to last? I need to go to the airport after?

UTMB sent out some denials. I didn't get one, but a friend did. I think it was for people who didn't meet qualifications.

I have not received anything either. I've tried calling but they cannot give any information over the phone. Good luck!

I still haven't heard anything... either a denial or an interview. I don't know if I should be concerned or not. I know they send out interviews in waves, but how soon do they send out rejection emails?

I think if you were denied you would know by now so just wait they prob will send a interview email out soon!
