nursetm Congrats on the Job by the way! I have my interview for that unit this Wednesday any tips?

I start nursing school at Tech, lubbock campus, in the fall. As far as my stats went I had a 3.6 overall GPA, 3.5 science GPA, 80 on TEAS, and over 100 volunteer hours. I however think that it was my interview that got me accepted I definitely knew walking out that the interviewers loved me because they couldn't stop smiling. The application process is hard, and scary but you can do it! Just in the interview make sure you capture them when you get asked why you want to be a nurse. That is one of the first questions, and in my opinion was very important. Good luck to you guys!

Yes I would take it at South Plains Community college!

I currently go to Tech but already have roommates if you are looking I think your best bet is on facebook through Texas Tech Pre-Nursing Association facebook group....but worst come to worst all housing around tech is individual leased so you get could lease a bedroom from a 4 bedroom apartment and they would match you with roommates! does anyone know how long we have to wait after interview till we know?

they also want them to be sent out by friday

They have sent out summer acceptance I go to Tech and in a class the teacher asked all of us if we heard and not a single person out of the 150 students had heard for fall they are still doing summer- as of yesterday

I think if you were denied you would know by now so just wait they prob will send a interview email out soon!

Does anyone know how long the interviews are supposed to last? I need to go to the airport after?
