UTMB FALL 2015

Hello everyone! I think it's finally time for someone to start a fall thread so here it goes. I am applying to UTHSC and UTMB for fall semester. I gave my teas test today and idk if that score is good enough or not. My GPA is 4.0 and teas individual score is 81. How did everyone else do in their test?

I got stuff in the mail yesterday from UTMB, they mail it to you the day you get accepted.

It's basically congratulating you and talking about the "next steps" like a background check.. drug screen.. immunizations.. and stuff like that. Also, once you pay the $200 acceptance fee you are emailed a new mystar user/pass for your future as a student, for Financial aid and class searching stuff like that :)

I CANT WAIT TO MEET YOU GUYS :-) Congrats for those of you accepted, and Good luck to those still waiting!!!!

For those who got accepted (Hayley and TX2015) how long after your interview did you find out whether you got in or not?

Well I have mine on Tuesday... What was it like? I'm really scared of my chances now since it seems I interview so late. I've been wanting to puke all weekend from the anxiety!!! How prepared were you for the interview. Do you know the ratio of acceptance to rejection notifications for those that got interviews? I'm so sorry but I have sooo many questions!

Don't worry! It's not that bad. Just be yourself and show them that you are interested in their program and what will you do to be successful in the program. Don't be too stressed out I think when you are sitting for the interview all your nervousness will go away!

Relax girly!!! Everyone is incredibly sweet.. And a professor there told me if you get an interview your pretty much in!!! They just want to make sure that your a good candidate in person not just on paper... You will be fine!! Just relaxxxx! Be happy you got an interview!! That's the really key to acceptance I promise.. A few pages back I talked about my interview process and questions I was asked. Don't be scared!

Yes I saw that thanks! on the question with the 70, are they asking if you had a 70 in the middle or at the end of the semester?

I'm here in galveston for my interview tomorrow morning. I'm nervous but trying to relax! My stats:

TEAS 92.7%

GPA 3.47

He was meaning, let's say there are 4 exams and you made a 70 on the 1st one, & 73 on the second.. What would you do for the other two?

Good luck on interview today. I had mine yesterday and it went great. There is not anything to be nervous about just be yourself.

Finally received an email invitation for an interview! I have my interview on Monday!!

I had my interview on the 31st. It went well, but the suspense is killing me! Crossing my fingers that I get an email soon. Good luck to all of you.
