UTMB Accelerated BSN Summer 2013

The application opened for this program just opened the other day, and I wanted to see if I could reach out to anyone else applying!

I've submitted my application, and took the TEAS V Test this morning!

I graduated Texas A&M with a Biology Degree this year and during completion of this degree I realized Nursing is where I want to be! Hope to hear from others!

Congrats! I interviewed on the 13th. Anxiously waiting to hear something.

on the 13 th ??? i thought they cancel interviews on the 13 th and 14 th??

After two months of like twiddling my thumbs wondering what was going on, I finally emailed staff 4/7/13 to see what was going on with my status. I got the reply on Monday to check my status as it has been updated. I GOT IN!!!! It was a little unsettling that I had to find out like that...but heck I'm so happy!!!! EEEK there's so much I need to do... I'm coming from Austin and will need either a roommate or have to suffer the dorms. If anyone is looking for a roommate let me know! I sent a join request for the Facebook group! I was told Orientation is on 5/1-2/13 and that class starts on 5/6/13...talk about time crunch. Glad to be joining the ranks though, can't wait!

Howdy friends! I have been accepted into the Summer 2013 Bacc 2 program at UTMB. I haven't gotten a whole lot of information regarding orientation, etc. Wondering if I'm the only one trying to figure out what we are supposed to be doing next week.

No, I was accepted back in January. I've only received two emails from the nursing department since then. Last email came March 22nd. It had 4 attachments. It discusses orientation dates, but doesn't give a location or time. Was wondering if I am missing an email or if this is all y'all have received as well.

Ok, I found the groups Facebook page and requested to join. I was able to access the orientation information from there.

Does anyone know what a competitive teas score for the accelerated program? Also, do they consider g.p.a for the accelerated program?
