Hello All, I am not sure if a thread has already started for the Bacc2 program,but I wanted to stay updated on the status of all the hopefuls out here. The deadline is soon approaching so hopefully I can stay patient during the wait.

I don't know if they have to have a specific number of applicants. I wonder how many seats they have left to fill though. On the email that got sent to us upon acceptance it said students have spent 16,00-2,200 for laptops and possibly more if the books are preloaded. From what I have read in other forums, you can choose from a 13 or 15 inch MAC or Dell and the Dell has been having it's share of problems. Most people get the MAC. I'm just preparing for the worst. Worst of all, I'm not from SA. I still have to find a place to live.

Just got an email saying they are working on our student email accounts and going by alphabetical order so some of us might get it before others!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just received my badge # and email account information this morning. My last name starts with B. Hopefully everyone should be getting theirs soon if you haven't received it yet!

I received mine too! I'm having a little trouble changing my temporary pswd though... Anyone else having difficulties?

I'm having trouble. It's not recognizing the temp pw and now it has locked me out. I'm about to call the help desk.

Oh, I figured out the problem. I was entering my badge ID instead of the username when trying to change my temp pswd. oops :)

Has anyone gotten their background check? How long does it take to receive the blue card

For those of you who are still waiting on acceptance emails... I just called the admissions desk, and because they have extended the deadline (again) to Feb 1st, we won't be hearing back until sometime after that date. I would assume that they are going to allow these new applicants to turn in their supplementals before making any decisions; so, we probably won't hear back until mid February...

Although I just heard this afternoon about admissions decisions being delayed until February...I just received my acceptance letter!! I can't wait to get the ball rolling and cannot wait to meet all of you who have been accepted!
