Hi everyone, I know the deadline is approaching for the application. I turned mine in a while back but just took my TEAS recently. I wanted to create this forum so we can all share our stats and any possible updates on acceptance and such!

Hi Jen I had a question about the BLS certification, you recommend CPR123.

Did you wait till you were accepted and got the student rate ? Or did you pay the higher rate before then?

I waited until I was accepted, but it's not necessary.

I did get the student rate. I had an ID from Alamo Colleges, and used that.

Hi, I have applied to the Fall 2018 traditional program! I have a 3.85 math/science GPA, my overall is low at 3.18 because of my freshman year and my TEAS score is an 80%. I already recieved an acceptance to the BSHP RN program but hoping to get into UTHSCSA BSN program.

I'm getting so anxious with this waiting period! In another forum someone said that they called the school and they said we won't be finding out till April 1st :( that's about 2 weeks later then the past cohorts got their acceptance letters :o

I am kind of hoping that the woman just said that. What I have seen from blogs is that its always the second week of March!

I think they give you the latest day possible. Like, they might be done sooner, but for sure by April, if that makes sense. We were told on August 30th (our app deadline was August 1) that it would be a couple more weeks, and we found out on the 8th of September.

I know how hard it is to wait!

Totally understand! I really hope that is the case because I literally check my email maybe 20 times a day lol..

When did you apply for BHSP? That was quick, I thought the deadline wasn't until June 1st and let you know after. I am also going to apply here.

I applied for summer cohort. That way if I do that route I'll been done with the ADN by end of summer next year and can start my online RN to BSN shortly after.. just trying to get started and finish as quick as possible with my BSN. I was hoping UTHSCSA would send out letters sooner.
