Hi! not sure if this thread is still active, but it won't let me start a new one :(( I'm a fall 2021 applicant and am supposed to conduct my interview this week! I was wondering if any of y'all have some advice regarding it? Anything would be helpful, and congratulations to everyone who got in so far!!

I’m going to apply to Summer 2022 accelerated BSN. Do you all know how competitive it is to get in? I just got my denial letter from Texas techs accelerated BSN. I have great stats, just wanting to know the details on this program. Any tips for applying?

Out of 519 only 120 had been offered applications. I didn't have amazing grades but I had plenty of volunteer hours as well as history of being a CNA as well as having my phlebotomy and PCT certification. A Lot of students in the program with me had mediocre grades but an interesting background, but a lot of students had amazing grades. I think they look for all around students not just grades here.

Thank you for responding, I have good grades and I was a speech therapist for many hours in both home health and clinics. I also have many volunteer hours in Mexico at their children’s hospitals since I am bilingual. I’m going to apply and pray I get in. Thanks for the feedback.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
