UTHSC Traditional BSN Spring 2014 Applicants

I have seen many threads for previous applicants for past semesters to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I wanted to start one myself as I am applying for the spring 2014 traditional BSN and have yet to find a thread for it. Although I opened it for applicants, I would also encourage previous applicants, current/previous students, and applicants for other semesters at UTHSC to join in and share in this exciting time!

One more week til Nov 15 and of this prolong waiting lol! Did any of you guys who are still waiting for UTHSC-H apply for other school as well?

Nope UTHSC was the only one I applied to! I didn't have micro finished to apply to TWU

I applied to UHV's Second Degree BSN program. I got invited to their interview, so hopefully that goes well for me since I haven't heard from UT yet!

Well good luck on your interview at UHV! There's probably much less competition over there since that school requires a bachelor degree to apply. What program do you want to get into more?

Thank you! That's what I'm hoping! Although UHV only accepts 60-65 students. I think I prefer UHV over UT since UHV's program is only 12 months long, and it would be a shorter drive for me :)

I emailed the admissions office today, and she said that by next week, all letters will be mailed out to all applicants. She also said although some notices have gone out already, there are plenty more to go! After next week, we should all know if we got accepted or not.... aww waiting is so hard :(

Haven't posted on this forum before, but have been reading it often. I applied to UTH and just received an email that my application status had changed. I checked myUTH and it was changed to a yellow triangle. Which I think means I was wait listed but I am not really sure. If anyone else knows about this, do you know if there is an order to those in line for acceptance? I was already accepted at UTMB but I am still curious!

Congrats on your acceptance to UTMB! Were you originally a green circle then change to a yellow triangle?
