I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning to apply to UTHSC for the Summer 2015 session. I am hoping to go the Pacesetter route. I currently have a degree in Communications and I'm finally able to change careers and follow my dream. I'm a high-school teacher that will be resigning in June when the school year ends. I have a lot of prereqs already taken, but have a few to go, as well. I'm currently taking Intro to Pscyh online, will take Lifespan in May, and Intro to Soci and and A&P I & II over the summer.

Hey y'all ... I was among the applicants that was wait-listed last spring.. I spoke with the administrative office last month and was told that we will be getting an email about our status on the 15th of this month.. i am kind of surprised that nobody has gotten any email email from the school yet till this point... does anyone pls know the exact date they will start notifying us.. This wait is sincerely unbearable...????
How will we get notified of acceptance? Do they send out email first, letter through the mail or will our status change first on the my.uth.edu website??
This wait is seriously killing me..I regret not applying to more schools!
Hey everyone, I'm applying to a few other schools including UTMB and HBU. I feel silly asking... but how is everyone monitoring their application progress?
i applied to other schools as well.. i've been accepted to one and am planning on going there unless i hear back from houston in time to consider both choices
I applied for the spring2015 and was waitlisted. I applied again for the FALL2015 ... now im wondering if I should have applied for the summer 2015...or if they automatically also put you in that pool. b/c the deadline was jan. 16 2015 so I would imagine it is the same but either way I have a green circle on my MYUT account. Last time they notified us by e-mail and it came in waves, or groups at a time, it did drag out for a total of 4 months for people who were waitlisted to see if they would be a last minute acceptance as an alternate.
I was waitlisted for the spring and forgot that I applied for the summer too... just got my acceptance for the summer...about to decline it though since I started an accelerated nursing program this spring. So that's one spot open for someone else! good luck everyone
