UTHSC Summer 2015 Application

Published

I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning to apply to UTHSC for the Summer 2015 session. I am hoping to go the Pacesetter route. I currently have a degree in Communications and I'm finally able to change careers and follow my dream. I'm a high-school teacher that will be resigning in June when the school year ends. I have a lot of prereqs already taken, but have a few to go, as well. I'm currently taking Intro to Pscyh online, will take Lifespan in May, and Intro to Soci and and A&P I & II over the summer.

If you are applying to start in this summer session too, please join in the discussion! We'll need to lean on each other as we go through this tough (but wonderful) process!

Anyone else out there?

Good Luck in advance!

Does anyone else have this problem when they try to accept or decline? Every time I click the link it says: [TABLE=class: PSGROUPBOX, width: 445]

No, this was my first time applying

First time applying.

What were your stats?

For everyone whose first time applying was for Sumner 2015 may you post your stats?

So all the waitlist students heard back?

I was wait listed and I haven't heard anything and I still have a triangle for my TSI requirement.

Congrats to all that have been accepted! I am a J1 so I can tell you a bit about my schedule this semester. Please take this with a grain of salt, because summer is shorter so hours at school will be longer.

Mon- health assessment lecture 8-9, 2 hr lab that begins anytime between 9:15 and 1:45. (you'll get your assigned time the weekend before school starts)

Tues- 8-12 care lecture, care lab 12-4 (lab only for the 1st 6 weeks)

Wed- Pharm 8-11, Patho 1-4

We have (1) 10 hour clinical day per week, after the first 6 weeks. It could be any day between Thursday and Sunday. This was assigned the first couple of weeks.

Again, this is for a 16 week semester, which summer will not be.

Thank you for posting this. It gives me and idea how it will be
