Hi everyone! I checked to see if there was a Facebook group and I didn't see one for us. I'll make one and call it UTHSC Nursing - Class of Fall 2018. I'll let you guys know when it's ready and see if I can share the link here.

I can help give advice on housing if you have any questions. I have lived all over Memphis since I moved here so I'm pretty familiar with the livability and price range of different areas. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Hey guys! I know this thread is old, but could anyone tell me about the interview process there? Did 1 person or multiple people interview you? What type of questions did they ask? Also, how are you liking the program?! Thank you!

Multiple people interviewed me. They asked what made me want to pursue nursing, what motivates me, what my strengths and weaknesses are. I can't remember what else.

So far I am enjoying the program. The semesters are broken into 10 week blocks. The first 10 weeks for the first semester were very test heavy and there was a lot of material to learn. During the second 10 weeks, we started clinicals. I just started the second semester on 1/2 so we'll see how this semester goes.

I have an interview with them in a couple of days... any tips on what to wear? Tips for anything else? I'm so nervous yet excited!

I know this is old, but I am hoping to hear back from y'all! I have applied to UTHSC for fall of 2019. They have now condensed the program from 17 months to 12 months and have also made it a requirement that you have previously earned a bachelors degree. Any tips for me granted I am accepted into the program?
