Uthsc Memphis - DNP students

Calling all UT Memphis DNP student together, including alumni. Let's network! Ask any questions about any particular program you are in or know about. I will start.

I have been a nurse 2 years and plan to start the DNP Acute Care program in August 2013. I'm looking for any advice, a list of books, or other materials we may have to buy for school. I also was wondering if anyone knows how the program will run. Lets get to know each other. :yes:

Hey everyone!

I was accepted into the PNP program just last week (they opened the program April 1st), so I'm assuming our group will be the last to get our NetIDs etc. Anyone else in this thread doing PNP or NNP?

Also sounds like there are a couple people from little rock, anyone up for a study group once classes start up?

Hey! Who emailed you your NetID? I haven't gotten it. I interviewed May 23rd. Definite interested in study group! Are you on Facebook?

I interviewed back in March actually and received my netID just this past week.

And awesome, I think it will be a huge help to getting through the program. I am on facebook, my name is Cortnee Whittington

I'm up for a study group! I think a lot of us will be in similar classes even if we have different end degrees.

I haven't heard from there but we should hear something by mid or end of July. I heard that from other students.

I thinks it's before school start but I would get it in ASAP possible. I wouldn't want any hold ups.
