Hi,
I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.
Thanks for your comments
congrats....looks like it's not going to happen for me....I think I would have heard by now.
Nooooo, dont get discouraged. Call the school. Also, remember they cant notify 150 students in one day. They prob have a system set up and YOU WILL get in. Stay optimistic, there is no better time for it. :)
I am not completely sure about the new system that they are using... I got home last night to find a think envelope from UTHSC waiting for me, the excitement faded when I saw it was only my transcript evaluation.
Oh well, and as of this morning I still have a green dot taunting me in myUTH. Starting to mentally prepare for the possibility for plan B.
This may sound silly but what is the best way to email the statement of intent back to them? Print it, fill it out, scan it, upload and send it? Or can it be opened and edited in Word then attached to an email? I'm on my phone and have no way today of getting on a computer so I'm unable to do too terribly much with it right now, was just curious how y'all sent it back. I'm sure its simple but since I can't edit it or do anything with it on my phone I can't really tell. I swear, I really am good with computers lol

I printed it, filled it out, scanned it, and sent it as a .pdf file. The admissions person sent me a reply 5 min later thanking me, so I guess that means I did it right lol. I dunno if anyone has an easier way though...

For those of us who haven't heard anything yet, I called just now and they said they are still notifying people today
