UTHSC-Houston Spring 2013

Hi,

I am new to allnurses.com and I wanted to start a topic for the Spring 2013 applicants at UTHSC Houston. Where we can keep each other posted on the process as it nears. I have yet to take the HESI but i wonder if anyone else has taken it and what their score was. I will compile my GPA's later and post them on here.

Does anyone's say complete? Or are we all in the yellow triangle party?

Mine says complete and shows a green circle. But, I still haven't received my transcript evaluations!!!!!!

I think that's normal if you still have prereqs to complete this fall (it seems like many of the posters here still have an "official transcript" hold because they need to submit another official transcript showing completion of all the prereqs before they can start the nursing program). I seem to be an exception to this because I'm currently finishing up my last few prereqs, but don't have any holds. It might be because I submitted my transcript before I enrolled in my fall classes, so my transcript didn't show any classes "in progress." I'm not completely certain, but I'm just trying to assure you that having a yellow triangle isn't necessarily a reason to worry! :)

Same Here. I have the green circle indicating it is complete. I am still finishing 2 classes this semester. Weird how everyone is different

I feel so behind. Where is everyone seeing this yellow triangle? The only site I know about is MyUTH, and my to-do list says:

Log onto my UTH, go to self service, then student admission, and click on admission status. You should see either a green circle (meaning your app is "complete") or a yellow triangle ("incomplete"). If you have any holds, your application will show as incomplete.

Ohhhh! Thank you oceanise!! I kept going to "Check Your Admissions Status" and was getting this message: "Student will be able to check their admissions status beginning in October for the upcoming year. To check your admission status Click on the "Admissions Status" link located in the Self Service pagelet."

I found the right place and I have a green dot, but I'm still taking three classes for the Fall term. My transcript eval was sent to my house twice. This whole process is confusing. Everyone is different. I figured since I'm still not done with my prerequisites, that I'd have a yellow triangle...
