I am applying to UTHSC Houston - Fall 2013. Anybody else?

Thank you! Glad to help! :) I would deffinetly submit your application before sending in your HESI scores. I dont think it matters but I have a friend who was on admissions for a nursing school and she advised me that it was better to have an application on file before sending in any transcripts, scores, etc.. so that there is a place for them and they aren't just sitting in a pile somewhere. $60.. yikes! Even more reason to get that application in early!

Taking the HESI this week. Any tips? I'm stressing so bad I wish I knew what to expect!! So I could study and focus on whatever is on there. Any help?

You have to apply for the regular BSN and be placed in the pacesetter BSN don't you?

Yep. I started my HEP B in June. I'll finish the series on January 9th.

They choose out of the applicants randomly who gets placed in the pacesetter BSN program. I went to the information session back in August and they were sitll not sure if they will be continuing that program in the fall or not. There is no way you can specify that that is the program you want to be in because it is still being tested out.

Anyone apart of any study groups in Houston? I'm taking A&P 1, Medical Microbiology, Nutrition and Life Development Psyc this sem. Will only need 4 classes next semester and I'll be complete with prerequisites. Yes!!!!

Dawno.....wow....six month series?? Is there age requirements? I don't think I have to take the menengisit shot.

Jesbustos.....look through Carlajeanx3 and longhornLdy previous post on like the first page or two. There were study materials mentioned by them I think. I bought the HESI study guide like the one on Elvesier from Barnes and Noble for $40
