Amymit - what is your application status at? Green circle? Or a triangle? I'm curious bc I'm almost wondering if those of you in limbo (no letter, or email) are on the wait list.......

Hemphia, I have a green circle...I wonder if I just haven't received my rejection letter yet :( I am in Katy so I have no idea why it would take an extra day, but who knows!

Has anyone that was not admitted checked their UTH to see if it has changed at all...I would be curious to know that...

I received "the letter" today, and my status is still unchanged (yellow triangle) . I really hope you hear some good news soon.

I have not received a letter or e-mail and my status is still a green circle and no holds.

Amymit- I have had a yellow triangle since the beginning. No emails, no holds, no letter. Not real sure what's going on, but I am not too worried. I'm trying to rest in the fact that the Lord is in control and nothing is too difficult for him. If he wants me in, then I will get in. Some days are definitely harder than others to remember this though! Good luck to you!

haydencneely, I totally agree with you! I know that God has a plan for me and he will put me exactly where I need to be! Unfortunately I am a human who is somewhat impatient and wants to plan the rest of my summer/education plans! Waiting is just a little bit difficult! Good luck to you too! :)

I had a yellow triangle and no holds and got a rejection letter, so maybe there is still hope that people with green circles and holds are on a wait list.

For those of you who haven't heard anything yet, maybe no news is good news. I emailed admissions yesterday to ask about the transcript evaluation that I still haven't received (even though I got the green check on Monday). They replied back that "Admission packets with this information were mailed out this morning". Maybe for some people the admission packet will come before their status is updated on myUT? If they're having trouble with the system that could make sense.

haydencneely- thanks so much for your post. You are so right and everything happens for a reason. As I whine and complain at home with anticipation during the night, I am also surrounded by ill children during the day working in a hospital, which reminds me that this program is just one little step in life, and one thing most of us can be thankful for right now is our good health!

I am in a similar boat as you, Amymit. I have had a yellow triangle since the beginning (although I confirmed with the office that my application was complete). I have 2 holds right now, no emails, no transcript eval, no change from my yellow triangle online, and no letter! I also live a mile from the school, so I should have received anything sent out on Monday.

I am also beginning to wonder if my application changed from "incomplete" to "waitlisted" and there is now way to differentiate. I am not sure who thought to bundle "incomplete" and "waitlisted" into one little ugly shape! I'm sure we'll know soon enough. Can't tell you how hard it is passing the school twice a day to and from work! I just want to run in there and get some answers for all of us :) Try to have a good night!

Well everyone...Congrats to those who have made it. Got my rejection letter today. I live in Spring. I applied for Spring of 2012 and for Fall of 2012 and rejected both times. Thank you all for reminding me that God has a plan. I wonder if he is trying to tell me something here. I had holds, but never any other changes.

My stats are not fabulous but I thought were fairly good. 20 years ago I got my BS in psychology. Had most of the pre reqs, just needed to take a couple of classes this past year (made A's in all). My husband says that he believes that I and am not moldable. Of course he loves me and so I think he will say anything to make me feel better. But, I am wondering... I may just be too set in my ways for what they are looking for. Perhaps younger applicants are what they are looking for??? My work history has been in medical and I have had a very good career path with only three different jobs in the past 20 years. I would think they would see stability, pretty good grades (3.162 overall, 3.278 nursing, 3.5, science, 90 HESI), mid life career change. I mean who at 45 yrs old isn't looking for a career change?

I know so many nurses that have been in nursing for 20 years that are so burned out. I thought this being a mid life career change would be an asset to the field that I could bring something younger nurses might not be able to contribute...something new that I could be passionate about for the rest of my working life. I guess for whatever reason, it is not.

I am sad but will keep my eyes open for the new doors in front of me about to open.

Good luck to all... for those who have been accepted and those who have not.
