UTHSC Fall 2015 Applications

Published

Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 3.9

I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test. :nailbiting:

I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)

120 each semester from what I've heard.

I have a question for those that have been accepted. I got my acceptance email on Tuesday but on myUTH my status still says incomplete because I am still currently taking classes, is anyone getting this??

That's weird. I am still taking the last of my classes and my status switched from incomplete to admitted.

When I look at my admission status there is no detail on it at all. Is anyone else having this issue? Mine used to have a yellow triangle (I have a class in progress) but now there is no shape at all. Seeing that some people have already been accepted makes me nervous!

I don't think we will hear anything else til next week.

I just called and they said it will take some time for it to change so now I just have to wait some more!

If the 15th is the last day I'm really nervous.

Crossing my fingers the rest of us hear something today!

Did they say that they are still sending out some acceptances? Or have they already sent them all?

Ahhh... Why can't they just send them all out at once, give the top 120 picks 10 days to accept or decline, then start notifying the wait listers about open spots.. Even if I'm not accepted I at least want to know because I really can't stop thinking about all the arrangements I need to start making if I am accepted (loans, Titers, insurance, etc)! I also have to talk to my mother, fiancé, and his mother about what says they would be free to watch baby. Ahhhh!

I think the majority of acceptances have been sent out and, from what I can tell based on last year's thread, a few more will go out over the next week or two. Denial letters should start arriving in the mail in the next week or so.

I talked to admissions Wednesday and they said some have been sent out. Not all. Thankfully!
