UTHSC Fall 2015 Applications

Published

Hi everyone! I did not find a thread for fall 2015 UTHSC applicants so I decided to create one, sorry if there is already one. I am going to be applying to Prairie View A&M, UTHSC, and Lone Star College (with UTHSC being my first choice). My current stats are:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 3.9

I am taking my Hesi test this Saturday. I'm fairly nervous about it so I'm studying non-stop until it's time to take the test. :nailbiting:

I'm looking forward to talking to everyone else that is applying! :)

I have a question. I called the Registrar's Office and asked her about this, but she didn't give me a clear answer. I'm currently taking the rest of my pre-requisite courses and will have them all finished by the end of this Spring semester. I have the required 40/60 credits to apply, but I have just 4 classes left to take. I sent in all my transcripts to UTH, but they still have one of my transcripts on my to-do list. Is it because I'm still taking classes at my current university (that's the one that's on the to-do list). Also, if that is the case, then will the classes I have on that transcript still count even though it's on the to-do list? My admission status says incomplete but I have all the necessary requirements to apply. Is anyone else in the same boat as me? I'm not sure what to do.

The reason it says incomplete is because of the classes you're still currently taking.

Nobody has been accepted yet?

Specializes in Critical Care.

To my knowledge they haven't send out any decisions yet...

I looked up Fall 2014, they started getting admissions 3/26 last year... Which was a Wednesday. Fingers crossed, everyone!

I spoke with SON regarding my transcript evaluation. They told me that transcript evaluations will be sent out within the next 2 weeks.

I'm hoping we get our notifications on the 26th like last year's applicants. I have been checking around three times a day!

I got my Tanscript Evaluation this morning! :)

Do we have to request a transcript evaluation and if so how do we do that?

I did not! I just got it in the mail. I think the are supposed to send it to you?

oh okay gotcha, I will be checking when I get home! This waiting is draining me :banghead:

I had to request my evaluation in order to receive one and I believe most other people had to as well. So If you don't have one when you get home, you may want to contact the nursing school to request one.
