UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

I just received the acceptance email, in the email it stated that we have ten days to accept, for those who were asking.

Me too! I just got the email from the confirmation Administrative Coordinator and it said that the official acceptance mail is pending.

CONGRATS to everyone who was accepted! My application still says under review but I’m not loosing hope. And I’m praying for everyone who is still awaiting their response from UTHSC. Maybe third day’s the charm!

My residency status is nonresident, has any nonresidents or out of staters got accepted yet??

I read at online that they cap the number at 120 for each cohort but I saw that on facebook there are 130+ in the group, does anyone know how many they are accepting?

People who are upperclassmen or just curious about the program join the cohort FB pages. They accept 120.

Some people that joined the facebook group are not all accepted students for Summer 2020. Some joined from previous cohorts to help out the class of ‘21.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Some of the people will be people who have applied and not got in yet, and some of the group members are from older cohorts.
